Summer's Over. Here's How to Win the Rest of 2024
Hey everyone! I have some good news and even better news.
Good news: We’re past the hottest part of Summer. Yay!!!
Even better news: As of today, there are 100 days left in 2024 (actually, 98). After weekends and holidays, that’s about 70 days left of “get shit done” days.
Take a moment to let that sink in. You’ve got ~10 weeks of working time left to hit those 2024 goals. If that’s a sobering realization for you, join the club 🤯🫡
This week, we’re covering how to win the rest of 2024.
We’ll explore how to do this with intention (instead of panic) and get you moving towards actionable steps you can start taking today. If you’re ready to live 2024 more authentically, this one’s for you.

💡 Skill Spotlight
Intention → Commitment → Action is a practice that helps us drive our actions (tangible steps) from our commitments (goals), which are derived in turn from our intentions (values).
Intention → Commitment → Action can helps us:
Ensure that our resources (energy, focus, presence) are aligned with our vision.
Build towards a future that we are excited about
Live more authentically by “clearing the deck” of things that aren’t aligned for us
Practicing Intention → Commitment → Action helps us to avoid the feeling of “doing things” while getting nowhere.

This week’s Conscious Connection meetup
We had such a breadth of people come in, including:
A tech founder who wants to run his company from a conscious place
A breathwork facilitator whose superpower is self-love
An ex-founder on career sabbatical just figuring shit out
We got deep. We bragged. We cried. It was beautiful, vulnerable, connecting, and soul-filling.
A shift in how we’re describing A²
(Copying from LinkedIn)
I had a chat with an A² member earlier this week that blew. my. mind. (shoutout Dave Gorum).
We were chatting about the essence of the community. After stumbling around trying to describe a "feeling" for a while, we landed on something awesome.
We both struggled to find spaces where we could meet other leaders that were like us.
→Traditional "networking" events are too "business-ey". Sometimes they’re great and other times they feel transactional, like building shallow connections over how to generate a higher return.
→ "Conscious" events (note: not religious) are amazing and soul-filling, but feel divorced from the day-to-day reality of being a business owner unless you literally run a monastery.
It sucks having to pick between these two spaces, and we don’t really feel at "home" in either space.
And then Dave said, "What I really love about Authentic Austin is that it's both of those. It's “spiritual networking".
🫨 JAW DROP. That's it!
We both want to connect with leaders whose creative path is business-building and also know that this game is bigger than just returns. That's what A² is all about. We're building Conscious Connection by inviting both the market-focused leader AND the spiritual seeker within you to the table.
Know anyone that’s looking for more of that in their life? I’d appreciate if you invite them to our next event!
